One number. Know if the world is calm or not.

KAIROS reads 14 live data sources every 15 minutes and compresses everything into a single score from 0 to 100. Green means quiet. Orange means pay attention. Red means act.

Physical sensors — faster than news
Radiation counters, earthquake networks, satellite wildfire detection, and the Spanish national power grid report what is happening right now — before any journalist writes about it. A blackout, a quake, a radiation spike: KAIROS knows within 10 minutes.

Markets — fear before headlines
The VIX volatility index, gold, oil, defense stocks, and the yield curve react to danger before CNN does. In February 2022, markets priced in the Ukraine invasion 48 hours before tanks crossed the border. In March 2020, VIX hit 82 — KAIROS would have been BLACK for 3 weeks before lockdowns.

Disease — weeks before hospitals fill
ProMED and outbreak news flagged COVID-19 on December 31, 2019 — 10 days before WHO named the virus, 11 weeks before European lockdowns. KAIROS watches the same sources and scores rising outbreak language before it reaches mainstream media.

Quiet by design
Most threat dashboards cry wolf. KAIROS does the opposite: the score is silent until something is actually wrong. Today the world scores a 14. That means you can ignore it. If it ever hits 50, you get a notification on your phone — and it means something real triggered it.
Tested against: COVID · Ukraine · Lehman · Spain blackout
How the score works
1 14 feeds run every 15 min. Each produces a domain score 0–100.
2 Scores are weighted and combined. Nuclear and pandemic count most. Space counts least.
3 If any single domain is seriously elevated, the composite cannot stay green. One red domain pulls the whole score up.
4 Push notification fires at ORANGE (50+). Confirmed physical events, not news noise.
