One number. KAIROS reads 13 live data sources every 15 min and compresses everything into a score 0–100. Below 30: ignore it. Above 50: something real is happening. Above 75: act.

How the score combines. Six domain scores (nuclear, pandemic, financial, military, space, environmental) get weighted into one composite. Two domains spiking simultaneously forces RED — that's the pattern of real crises (Ukraine 2022, COVID Dec 2019, Spain blackout Apr 2025).

Backtested against: COVID-19 outbreak, Russia-Ukraine invasion, Spain Apr-2025 grid blackout. Silent on quiet days, loud only when ≥2 independent signals converge.
